Obituary

John "Kip" K. Kavanagh, 75, a resident of Salisbury Massachusetts died on July 23, 2011 at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA

He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on May 19, 1936 to John and Florence (Alderson) Kavanagh he was educated in the Bruce Grammar School in Lawrence and was a 1954 graduate of Lawrence High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy, after serving in the Navy he worked for many years for the Merchant Marines he was employed as a diesel third engineer for the military sealift command until his retirement in 2001. He loved to play 45's, and also loved to travel and eat at various restaurants including the Hilltop Restaurant, Woodman Seafood and the cedar crest restaurant in through out the Merrimack Valley.

He is survived by two brothers: Daniel Angelo of Englewood, Florida and Robert Angelo of Port Charlotte, Florida as well as several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
