William A. Kearney, Jr., 48, of Fort Myers, Florida died unexpectedly from cardiac trauma on February 8, 2004.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late William A. and Mildred F. (Ward) Kearney, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life before moving to Florida in 1997.
He was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Mr. Kearney was a graduate of Holy Family Grammar School, Bishop Connolly High School and Southeastern Massachusetts University.
Survivors include 3 sisters, Anne Marie Johnson, and her husband David A., of Grapevine, Texas, Patricia M. Kearney of Arlington, Virginia, and Maureen A. Kearney of Rockville, Maryland; 2 aunts, Betty Letoile of Providence, Rhode Island and Dorothy Kearney of New Bedford; and numerous cousins and friends.
