New Bedford-Donald H. Taylor age 65 years died at home on July 18th with his loved one surrounding him. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda Eileen (Jones) Taylor. He was the loved father of Kevin F. and his wife Kristy Ann Taylor of Olivebridge, NY. Cheryl M. Mc Mahon of New Bedford and Rebecca L. and her husband Felix Anthony Fernandez of New Bedford. Donald was the loving grandfather of Sierra Noel and Dakota William Mc Mahon, Jasmine Nichole, Brandon Anthony and Kiana Eileen Fernandez, Madelyn Eileen and Abigail Kathleen Taylor. He has 2 great-grandchildren. Donald was the brother of Francis "Frank" Taylor of New Bedford, Joseph Taylor of Dartmouth, Ann Sears of Dartmouth, Catherine Perry of New Bedford and the late Kenneth "Benny" Taylor and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donald was a son of the late Francis and Ida (Davignon) Taylor. He was born in New Bedford, and lived in this area all his life. He worked for City of New Bedford at the Cemetery Department until he retired.
Mr. Taylor’s funeral will be Thursday at Perry Funeral Home at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St Joseph-St. Therese Church at 9:15 A.M. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
