Manchester– Lorraine S. Forest, 74, died July 17, 2011 at Maple Leaf Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on August 9, 1936 the daughter of Dorila “Monk” and Violet (Prud’homme) Forest. She had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She had worked for both Bee Bee Shoe and Myrna Shoe prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed scrapbooking and was the historian for the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 79.
Family members include her brother Armand D. Forest and his wife Lucille of Manchester, and four nieces, Joanne Demers, Ann-Marie Curry, Joyce Lyford, and Amy Forest. and several cousins.
Services: There are no calling hours.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration Church, Kelley St.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
