Theresa Kelly Turner, 79, of Durham, North Carolina (formerly of Fitzgerald, Georgia) died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at her home in Durham.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M., Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald with Dr. Mike Ruffin officiating. Visitation will take place before the service at the funeral home from 12-2 on Tuesday.
Ms. Turner was born June 28, 1932 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Luke and Eula Kelly. She had lived in the Durham community since 1960. She was retired from the administrative department of Liggett Company. Ms. Turner was of the Baptist faith. She loved camellias and always enjoyed her cats.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sharon & Barry Russell of Durham, NC. The family would also like to thank the caregivers that gave such loving 24-7 care to Terri over the past 5 years.
