Obituary

Angela E. (Franciose) White 87 of Natick, died Friday July 15, 2011 at the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the beloved wife of the late James M. White who died December 31 2009, and with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.

Born in Natick and a lifelong resident she was the daughter of the late James and Carmella (Sansossio) Franciose.

Mrs. White was a Crossing Guard at the Johnson Elementary School on South Main Street for 45 years retiring in 2007. She was known to three generations of children and their parents as the “friendly Police Lady” who guided them safely to and from school each day.

She was a Natick Town Meeting Member for many years, member and former treasurer of the Natick Sons of Italy Club, member of the Natick Emblem Club, and past President of the Natick Police Women’s Association.

Mrs. White was an exceptional cook, she loved sharing her Italian specialty meals and desserts with her family and many friends.

Above all she was completely devoted to her family and late husband who she rejoined in heaven one day before what would have been their 61st wedding anniversary.

She is survived by three children Richard A White and his wife Laurie of Natick their children Ricky and Angela, James M White Jr. and his wife Diane of Millis and their children James III and Amanda, Sandra L White of Natick and her children Melissa , and Michael Carter and his fiancé Lauren Harris of Bellingham, two brothers James “Juni” Franciose of Natick, Joseph “Muzzy” Franciose and his wife Joan of Sherborn, one sister Madeline “Dolly” Amalfi and her husband Amos of Wellesley, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

The entire White family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to staff of the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their love and care throughout Mrs. White’s illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday July 19 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.

Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
