Obituary

Kristine (Freeman) Nazzaro, 46, of Franklin died July 15 after a courageous battle with ALS at her home with her family.
Born in Newton, May 31, 1965, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Sullivan) Freeman of Burlington, Mrs. Nazzaro was raised in Burlington and had lived in Westborough for 13 years prior to moving to Franklin in 2009. She was able to live her final years at home due to the care given her by her daughters, Katherine and Samantha Nazzaro,and her ex-husband Steven Nazzaro and his wife Noelle Carpenter as well as their son Janthony. Roger Carpenter also lived there as her caretaker.
Mrs. Nazzaro was a graduate of Burlington High School and also received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
She had worked as a Teachers Assistant in Milford and as a waitress at the Piccadilly Pub in Westborough.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Katherine Nazzaro and Samantha Nazzaro of Franklin.
She is also survived by her sisters, Kia Freman-Gode-von Aesch of Newton and Audra Freeman of Malden.
She is also survived by her two nieces, Ava and Tierney and her brother in -law Bill Gode-von Aesch from Newton.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 19 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street in Franklin from 4-8 p.m.
Services and interment will be private.
