Rita M. Almeida 89, of Almeida Dr. died Friday July 8, 2011 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Joaquim Almeida. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Clara (Rousseau) Dufault. Mrs. Almeida was an assembler for AT Cross Co. for over twenty years. She spent many hours a day walking with her brother the late Eugene Dufault who past June 23, 2011. She also enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by four sisters, Jeannette Lavallee, Georgette Lebon, Pauline Cotnoir and her husband Paul, and Yvette Dufault, all of Woonsocket, a sister -in -law Therese Dufault also of Woonsocket, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Conrad, Wilfred Jr., Alfred, and Eugene Dufault.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home were private.
