Rosa (Medeiros) Ferraz, age 90 of Fall River passed away July 13, 2011. She was the wife of the late Serafim Ferraz. Born in Agua de Pau, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel & Rosa (Medeiros) Caetano. Rosa was a homemaker at home and a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church.
Rosa was the mother of Fernando and his wife Maria “Laurie” Ferraz of Fall River, Joao and his wife Isabel Ferraz of New Bedford, the late Clara M. DeTorres, and the late Jose & Raul Ferraz. She was also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. Rosa was predeceased by 1 sister and 2 brothers.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on MONDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours SUNDAY 2-5 P.M.
