NEW BEDFORD — Colleen Patricia Nadeau, age 54 years, of the Roosevelt Apartments in New Bedford, died on July 11, 2011, unexpectedly. She was the wife of the late Gerald Nadeau.
Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William and Peggy (Follett) Whitney and lived in this community for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Nadeau and Tracy Arruda of New Bedford; and siblings, all out of state: William J., Edward R., Dennis J., Clyde P., Robert B., and Michael T. Whitney, Peggy Lane, Laura O'Connor, Kathy Kyley, Christine Nelson, Georgia Vienna, Kimberly Whitney and the late Elizabeth Whitney; and grandchildren, Dakota Alexandria Nadeau and Daevin Lance Hwang.
Her memorial service will take place on Saturday August 13th at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Grace Church, 422 County St., New Bedford. Arrangements with the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., New Bedford.
