Obituary

Edward C. Wasilewski, 90, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Copley at Stoughton on Wednesday, July 13. He was the husband of the late Muriel G. (Williams) Wasilewski. Born and raised in Chelsea, he was a graduate of Chelsea High School and the New England Aircraft School. Mr. Wasilewski was a resident of Dorchester for 43 years before moving to Stoughton in 1983. He was a WW II Veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Wasilewski was a supply controller for Northeast Airlines and Delta Airlines for 43 years before retiring in 1984. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing softball as a young man.
Mr. Wasilewski is survived by his children, Patricia A. Wasilewski and Bruce E. Wasilewski and his wife Lorraine all of Stoughton. He was the grandfather of Thomas B. Wasilewski and his wife Jessica of Brockton and the great-grandfather of Kayla and Cory. He was the brother of the late Alice Terciak.
Funeral Services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, July 15 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Edward’s memory may be made to American Lung Assn., 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
