(Bette Mae) Age 87 of Mesa, AZ Bette (nee Kostohryz) passed away on July 2, 2011, after a courageous fight with ovarian cancer. She was born and raised in St. Paul, MN, and was preceded in death just weeks ago by her beloved husband of 66 years, George H. Johans, Jr. Bette was a loving mother of Jill (Ken) Zimmerman, Mary Lee (Joel) Hoffman, Richard Johans (Janet Mate) and Debby (Tim) Geronsin. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be remembered forever for her kind and gracious ways. Memorial Service for both Bette & George. As inseparable as they were in life, Bette & George will be celebrated and laid to rest together on Thursday, July 14, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret St., North St. Paul, with a gathering of family and friends from 10:00 AM until the service. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul.
