Ellis Norris, passed away at his home in Woburn, on Monday morning, February 9, at the age of 80. He was the husband of Kathleen Barker Norris
Born in England, he was the son of the late Mary (Gormley) and John Norris. Ellis was educacted in England, earning a degree in engineering. He later served in the British military with the rank of Major during World War II. Ellis enjoyed walking, traveling, watching sports in particular, cricket, soccer and baseball.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Michael Norris and his daughter Beverly Hall both of England and also four loving grandchildren.
His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Wednesday, February 11 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 100 Washington St. Woburn at 11:30. Interment will be private.
Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 thru 6.
