Mary C. "Mae" (McCrevan) Feeney, a lifelong Charlestown resident, died on Monday, July 11, 2011 at The Lighthouse Nursing Home in Revere following a lenghty illness. She was 87 years old.
Mae was born in Boston and grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools. Mae has been a homemaker most of her adult life and was a member of The Golden Age Center on Main Street in Charlestown.
Mae is the beloved wife of the late John A. Feeney. She is the devoted mother of Mary Miele of Charlestown, Patricia Feeney of Maine, Kathleen Boutwell, James, Daniel and Michael Feeney all of Charlestown and the late Boston Firefighter John "Al" Feeney and Boston Firefighter William G. Feeney. She is the loving Grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mae's Funeral on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visiting hours on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m.
