CHARLES ALLEN TAYLOR, SR., 90, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011.
He was retired from International Harvester and was an Army Veteran of World War II, receiving a Purple Heart for service in the Battle of Arnhem.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Patrick Young.
He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Marjorie O. Taylor; children, Charles “Gene” Taylor (Judy), Beverly Herald (William) and Barbara Reusche (Robert); grandchildren, Sheri Hagan, Geoffrey Taylor, Paul Young, Beth Young, Shannon Ernst, Christopher Taylor and Rachael Taylor; and 4 great-grandchildren.
His service will be 11am Wednesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff. Owen Funeral Home, Dixie Highway, entrusted with arrangements.
