Tanza, Robert L. age 71 formerly of Washington Township and Brooklyn and a current resident of Lakewood, NJ died Saturday, July 9, 2011. Beloved husband of Joanna (nee) Presti. Devoted father of Denise Bellantoni and her husband Peter, Susan Tanza, and Renee Tantillo and her husband Chris. Loving grandfather, “Pa,” of P.J., Andrew, Matthew, Samantha, and Jack. Dear brother-in-law of Jack and his wife Nancy, Angela and her husband Tony, and Pat. Robert was predeceased by his loving mother, Helen (Elena) and his siblings Dorothy, Gloria, and Rudy. Many fond memories of Bob’s witty humor will be cherished by his family and friends. Robert was an avid fisherman and spent many years working with Brooks Brothers Men’s Clothing store in Paramus. He was also a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Good Council of Washington Township. Funeral Service Wednesday 9AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to Our Lady of Good Council for a 10AM mass of Christian Burial. Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
