LEICESTER; Mrs. Wynona B. (Poirier) Aja 76 of 212 Rawson St., died Monday Feb. 2 at The Hermitage Nursing Home in Worcester. She leaves her husband of 58 years Lawrence A. Aja, two sons Michael L. Aja of E.Brookfield and Patrick G. husband of Jodi Donohue-Aja of Leicester, a brother Reginald Poirier of Barre, Vt., five grandchildren, Bryan, Adam and Nicolas Aja of E.Brookfield, Jennifer Sanders of Fla. and Jessica Aja of Leicester, and a great grandaughter Alexis Sanders of Fl., neices and nephews. Mrs. Aja was assistant food manager and a baker at Leicester Junior College for 22 years, retiring in 1975. Born in Braintree, Vt. she was the daughter of Philador N. and Belle L. (Dwire) Poirier and lived here since 1954. Private services will be held in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
