Francis “Frank” Thomas Foley, 65, of Omega died Friday, July 8, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with burial to follow in Omega Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Foley was born on January 29, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan and was the son of Francis Foley and Magdalene Foley, both deceased. He was an engineer and had served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Foley is survived by his former wife, Linda Bowen of Omega; one step-son, Clyde Hamby of Omega; three daughters and one son-in-law, Angelia Foster of Omega, Cheryl and Vince Taylor of Texas and Elizabeth Foley of Michigan; two step-daughters, Tina Alanis-Zapata of Tifton and Wanda Fretwell of Omega; one brother, Tommy Foley of Michigan; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
