Michael Robert D. Allington, of Plymouth, died suddenly on July 6th after being struck by a car at the age of 29. The beloved son of Elizabeth (Fleming) of Plymouth and the late Michael F. Allington, brother of Stephanie Allington, Alan Braley and Mark Allington all of Plymouth, grandson of Valerie Sennott and Frederick Allington both of FL. He also leaves his fiancee Helen Churchill and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael graduated from Plymouth North High School where he was on the wrestling and football teams and a member of DECA. After high school he joined the U.S Army serving in the War on Terrorism. He loved to read, doing puzzles and especially spending time with his family. A funeral service will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Thursday, July 14th at 11AM followed by burial at the National Cemetery in Bourne. A visiting hour will be held at the funeral home from 10 to 11 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Nathan Hale Foundation, 15 Main St Ext, Plymouth, MA 02360.
