ONSRUD, Jennie N. (Bruno)- Of Windham, NH, July 7th. Devoted wife of Stuart Onsrud. Beloved mother of Robert "Mick" McDaniel of Chelsea, Darlene Kinckle and her husband Robert of Tewksbury and Steven "Mick" McDaniel and his wife Kristin of Middleboro. Sister of the late Anthony and William Bruno. Cherished grandmother of Kim McDaniel, Lorna McDaniel, Michael Higginson, Robert McDaniel, Justin Kinckle, Tyler McDaniel and Lindsay McDaniel. Lovingly survived by her great grandchildren Alexia, Abigail and Brendan. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday, July 11th at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols Street, Chelsea at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Boston and a resident of Windham, New Hampshire since 1987, Jennie passed away at St. Elizabeths Medical Center in Brighton after a lengthy illness. In her early working years, she worked from 1953 until the late 60's at American Optical and then from 1969 until her retirement in 1996 at K Mart retiring from their Saugus store. Jennie was a proud member of the Red Hats.
