Nicholas A. Kean, 39 of New Bedford died July 4, 2011 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Mildred (Foote) Renaud of New Bedford and the late William J. Kean, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was most happy when fishing, playing billards and playing baseball in his youth.
Survivors include his mother; 2 brothers, Edward Mulvey and his wife Julie and Brian Mulvey and his wife Brenda, all of New Bedford; ,a sister, Sharon Costa and her husband Marc of New Bedford; his aunt, Yvonne Foote of Wareham; many cousins, nieces and nephews including his special nephew, Brad Robinson.
He was the brother of the late Mary-Anne Mulvey Robinson, step-son of the late Sylvio Renaud, grandson of the late Capt. Cecil Foote and Annie Gertrude Foote and nephew of the late Cecil Foote, Jr., Florence Mullens and Helen Murphy.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 9th at 9 AM in St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Stephen M. Costa Memorial Fund, c/o New Bedford Credit Union, 1150 Purchase St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
