Obituary

WORCESTER-Michael C. Andreson, 82, formerly of Orleans, died Friday, February 6th in Holy Trinity Nursing Home. His first wife Helen P. (Pappas) Andreson died in 1965. He leaves 2 daughters Elaine M. wife of Wesley Peterson of Northborough and Patricia J. wife of John Clark of Worcester, a granddaughter Shannon wife of Michael Papandrea of Auburn and 2 great-grandchildren Lauren and Dominic Papandrea both of Auburn. He also leaves his wife Patricia (Seidel) Andreson of Orleans. 3 brothers James C., George C. and most recently Nicholas C. Andreson predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester the son of Charles and Panagiota (Karavokiri) Andreson and lived here for many years before moving to California. In 1989 he retired to the Cape. He was a graduate of Worcester Academy and Syracuse University. Mr. Andreson was a World War II Army veteran, serving with the 1st Infantry Division, and was a member of the third wave assault at Omaha Beach. He had been an agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms until his retirement.

The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
