Florence Ada (Kelley) Tancredi, a resident of Malden, formerly of Stoneham, died at the
Dexter House Nursing Center in Malden on July 3, 2011. She was 96 years old.
Born in Sandown, New Hampshire, on October 2, 1914, she was the daughter of the
late Harrison M. and Ada M. (Thurston) Kelley. Florence is survived by her children,
daughter, Barbra Louise Smith, daughter, Marjorie Elizabeth Holler,
son, Charles Richard Smith, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Florence had artistic talent and liked to draw and paint. She also enjoyed gardening and loved her cat,
Su Su. Florence worked most of her life as a caregiver to the elderly
She will be sadly missed by her family and all those who knew her.
