Estelle A. (Charity) Martel age 84 of Salem, NH, died Saturday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
She was born in Lowell, MA, where she grew up and attended schools. She was a resident of Salem, NH for over 50 years, formerly of Lawrence, MA.
Mrs. Martel was a retired sales clerk for Kealey Farms in Salem, NH. She had previously worked for Phoenix Electronics, formerly of Lawrence, MA and University Cap & Gown of Lawrence, MA. She was a very active member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH, where she was involved with Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed her family and friends and was an avid bingo enthusiast.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Martel, who passed away in 1989.

1 Son: Robert E. & his Wife Inell Martel of Pace, FL
1 Brother: Harry Charity of Lowell, MA

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
