Obituary

Joseph A. Belanger, 74, of Spring Hill, FL died in an automobile accident Wed., June 28th along with his wife Dorothy Belanger. He formerly lived in Windham, NH for 45 years.

Joseph was born and educated in Goffstown, NH and graduated from Manchester High School and Cornell University. He retired from the Air Force and was also in the National Guard. Joseph was in the CWA Union Local 1365 and worked at Western Electric. He also was the proprietor of JB’s Gun and Sport in Windham, NH.

He loved being with his family and grandchildren. Joseph enjoyed building race cars, fishing and politics. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and was very active in the Special Olympics.

He was predeceased by his first wife Patricia (Lacasse) Belanger.

Brother: Andre and Joanne Belanger of Manchester, NH

Brother-in-law: Andre and Carol Lacasse of Berlin. VT

Sister-in-law: Elaine and Ralph Henault of Bedford, NH
Annette and Dick Olson of Clearwater, FL
Agnes and Gerry Grimo of Windsor, VT

10 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews

Calling hours will be Tues., July 5th from 4-8PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.

The Funeral Service will be Wed., July 6th at 10:00AM at St. Matthew Church, Windham, NH. Burial is in Forest Hill Cemetery, Derry, NH.
