Lila M. Keogh,, 83, of Pheasant Run, a retired court reporter, died Wednesday at the Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the daughter of the late Richard J. and Libbie (Jarvis) Keogh.
Born in Providence, she had been a resident of the city before moving to Smithfield in 1982. She was a devoted aunt, an avid reader and walker, an active member of St. Michael’s Church and had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her siblings; Janice K. Zangari and her husband, Frank of Smithfield, Thomas J. Keogh and his wife, Ann of Pittsburgh, PA, F. Patrick Keogh and his wife, Judith of Johnston, a sister-in-law, Carol Keogh, fifteen nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard B. Keogh.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Georgiaville. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-7pm.
