NICHOLSON, BRIAN B. formerly of Oxford, MA passed away on June 26, 2011 at Mary McCarthy Hospice & Palliative Care Center in East Sandwich after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Brian was raised in Oxford, attended Woodstock Academy in Woodstock, CT & graduated from Oxford Memorial High School. Brian loved sports, especially the New York Yankees & he was a very talented carpenter, landscaper & cook. He is predeceased by his father, James K. Nicholson. He leaves his beloved mother, Mary E. Nicholson of Brewster, a son, Brian J. Nicholson of Worcester, a sister, Judith N. & her husband William G. Davis of South Hadley, MA & a brother, James M. Nicholson & his wife Paula N. of Brewster. Brian is also survived by many cousins, nephews & nieces. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at the McCarthy Care Center for the care and compassion they gave to Brian & our family.
