WEBSTER - John S. Dziedzic, 93, of Hartley St., died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Lanessa Extended Care.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Jane J. (Plotczyk) Dziedzic; 2 sons, John J. Dziedzic and his wife Rosalie of Dudley, their children Sara Dziedzic of Woodstock, CT and Stephen Dziedzic and his wife Amy of Webster, and a great granddaughter Emily; and George P. Dziedzic and his wife Lanna and their sons Scott and Timothy, all of Webster; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Helen Dziedzic and Stasia Hencinski.
He was born in Webster, the son of George and Mary (Stalec) Dziedzic and was a lifelong resident. He attended Bartlett High School.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Dziedzic worked at Wyman Gordon Company in Worcester as a tumble blaster for over 20 years before he retired in 1981. He was a lifelong member of Saint Joseph Basilica and a member of the Webster-Dudley American Legion Post #184.

The funeral will be held Friday, July 1, with a Mass at 9:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will perform the military honors at the cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
