Marshall N. Wilson, 82, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 29, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve O’Neal officiating. Interment will follow In Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilson was born October 24, 1928 in Ocilla, GA to the late James and Maggie Lewis Wilson. A graduate of Mystic High School, he held an Associate Degree from Durham Technical Institute. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force. Mr. Wilson was the founder and manager of the Christian Kitchen and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was a former member of the Sertoma Club in Durham, NC.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife: Myrt Wilson of Fitzgerald; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Dana Wilson of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Kevin, Andrea, and Jake Wilson; great-grandchildren: Kade and Grady Wilson; sister, Mary Evans of Tifton and brother, Steve Wilson of Mystic. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters.
