Ms. Geraldine F. Flynn, age 73 of Melrose died Sunday in St. Elizebeth Medical Center in Brighton following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Flynn was born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Gerald J. and Florence M. (Luciano) Gaudette. She was raised an only child in West Medford and is a graduate of Medford High School.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, occasional trips to Foxwoods, Television shows like Law & Order and musicals. She will be remembered as a loving grandmother and a great cook.
She is survived by two daughters: Barbara Goslin and her husband William of Plymouth, Donna Ruocchio and her husband Salvatore of Medford, two sons: John Flynn and his wife Kimberly of Melrose, William Flynn and his wife Linda of Stoneham. Beloved grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Funeral from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home 306 Main Street Medford on Wednesday at 9:00 am. Her funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 5 through 8 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
