Hudson, MA
Richard J. Rocheleau, 75, a longtime resident of Hudson, died on Friday, June 24th at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center.
Richard was born and raised in Hudson, son of the late Harold and Elsie (Charbonneau) Rocheleau. He attended local schools and was a 1954 graduate of Hudson High School. He was an outstanding hockey player in high school and member of the 1954 Hudson High School championship hockey team. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. He worked for several local construction companies for many years until his retirement.
Richard is survived by his three brothers, Robert Rocheleau and his wife Velma of Hudson, Paul Rocheleau and his wife Sandra of Marlboro, James Rocheleau of Boston; his sister, Mary Rocheleau-Hammond of Marlboro and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Harold Rocheleau.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28th from 10::00 to 11:00 a.m.at the: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749, followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, June 28th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow In Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson.
