Charles J. Zanchi, 79, of Natick passed away Friday, June 24, 2011 at Metro West Medical Center in Natick.
Charles was born November 19, 1931 in Framingham, Massachusetts to Joseph and Margaret (Plurinavicia) Zanchi. He has lived in Natick for over 50 years. Charles served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with Dennison Manufacturing Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1991. Charles was a member of Columbus Club in Framingham. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. He was a very loving and generous husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Patricia (Giannetti) Zanchi. Devoted children, Charles J. Zanchi and wife Mary of North Reading, Ann M. Anslem and husband David of Millis. Charles was the loving grandfather of Julie and Beth Pike and Lisa Zanchi. Loving step-grandfather of David Anslem Jr., Seth Anslem and Alexis Anslem. Charles also leaves behind his siblings, Louis J. Zanchi and wife Joan, Joseph L. Zanchi and wife Mildred, RuthAnn Roth and husband Robert all of Framingham. Charles was predeceased by his parents and his daughter who died at birth, Mary Zanchi.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Mr. Zanchi’s funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK at 9AM on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10AM. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM.
