Edward Arthur Krones, age 91, of Indian Mound, TN, died June 24, 2011 at his home. He was born November 18, 1919 in Chicago, IL, son of the late August Gillman and Delia LaCoste Gillman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, LaVergne Cammack Krones.
Mr. Krones was a World War II veteran of the US Army and retired from the US Postal Service. He was a Catholic and a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W.
Survivors include daughter, LaVergne Krones, Indian Mound, TN; two granddaughters, Lorene Kitzmiller and LaSchell Hembree; two great-granddaughters, Jena and Julie Hembree; and several nieces and nephews.
He will be cremated and no visitation or services are planned.
