LOWELL—Charlie Matos, 34 years old, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at Saints Memorial Medical Center.
He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, on September 30, 1969, a son of Rafael and Paula (Morales) Matos, and was educated in Puerto Rico. Mr. Matos had been employed as a laborer for local cleaning companies.
Surviving him are his wife: Maria (Casul) Matos, of Lowell; his four children: Yaisha, Tamisha, Charlie, Jr., and Nashali Matos, all of Lowell; two brothers: Luis Matos, of Leominster; and Rafael Jose Matos, of Puerto Rico; two sisters: Yolanda Matos and Rosa Matos, both of Puerto Rico; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, February 9th, from 5 to 8 PM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His funeral service to be held Tuesday, February 10th, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery
