Hillra Leon Flener, 79 passed away June 22, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East.
He was born in Grayson County, June 22, 1932, a driver for Mason Dixon for 35 years, a member of Local 89, National Street Rod Association and a Baptist.
He is survived by his son, “David” Leon Flener (Helen); daughter, Doris Lynn Ernst; grandchildren, Amy Ernst, Kevin Flener (Stacy), Keith Flener and Kristy Smith (Mike); great-grandsons, Jonathan, Austin, Kyler and Dylan; brother, Tom Flener; sister, Jean Casey; and companion Barbara Kaiser.
Funeral service Noon, Monday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation 1-8 pm, Sunday and after 10 am, Monday at the funeral home. Burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
