Obituary

Mrs. Frances L. (Todorsky) Konopacki, of Taunton, died Wednesday, June 22 in Taunton Nursing Home following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Konopacki. She was born 90 years ago in Norton, the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Stella (Adamczyk) Todorsky. She was educated in Boston and Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School. Prior to her retirement, she was a self-employed hairdresser, operating Fran’s Beauty Lounge at her home in Taunton. She was previously employed at the former Brockton Gas Co. and at the former Taunton Dress Co. She also worked at the former Defiance Bleachery in Norton. Frances was a former member of the Holy Rosary Sodality, and had served on the Polish Picnic Committee at Holy Rosary Church. She attended the Prime Time Senior Center in Dighton. She enjoyed needlework, traveling with her late husband, and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Church.
She leaves: 1 daughter: Lorraine MacDonald and her husband, Robert of Taunton; 1 son: Frank J. Konopacki, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Taunton; 4 grandchildren: Robert MacDonald, Jr., Katie MacDonald, Jason Konopacki, and John Konopacki all of Taunton; 2 great grandchildren: Nicholas and Daniel Konopacki, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, June 25 at 9:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will precede the funeral, Saturday, from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Taunton Nursing Home Activities Fund, 350 Norton Ave., Taunton, Ma., 02780.
