M. PATRICIA (KAVANAUGH) O'LEARY of East Weymouth, formerly of Hull, died on Wednesday, Feb. 4th at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a brief illness. She was born, raised and educated in Worcester. Mrs. O'Leary was a resident of Hull for 45 years before moving to East Weymouth 6 years ago. She was a customer service representative for Talbots in Hingham for 25 years, retiring a year and a half ago.She was an active member of St. Mary's Parish in Hull where she taught CCD and was a member of the Sodality. She was also a member of the Hull Garden Club.She is survived by her husband, John B. O'Leary of East Weymouth. and was the mother of Mary Lou Dowd of East Weymouth, Brian J. O'Leary of Tacoma, WA and Siobhan M. O'Leary of Hull. Sister of Dr. William F. Kavanaugh of North Smithfield, RI and grand-mother of Brianna C. O'Leary of East Weymouth.A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Feb. 9th at 11:30 AM at St. Ann's Church, corner of Samoset Ave. and Lewis St., Hull.Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Sunday afternoon from 1-4 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Columbans Foreign Missions Society, P.O. Box 10, St. Columbans, NE 68056-0010.The interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, East Weymouth.
