Stacey Lannan, age 42, owner of Silly Cakes for Silly Kids, died at home unexpectedly in her sleep on Monday, June 20, 2011. She was born on Feb. 21, 1969 in Boston, Ma. On October 2, 1993, she was married to Douglas E. Lannan. Together they welcomed their son, Jake W. Lannan, into the world on November 2, 2000. Stacey was a long-time employee at the 99 Restaurant in Easton, Ma. In her free time she loved to participate in all areas of her son’s life, including Cub Scouts, school events, and fishing tournaments. She also had a passion for cake creation and design, which lead to the establishment of Silly Cakes for Silly Kids. She, Doug and Jake also enjoyed camping together. Stacey was the daughter of Maxine and Arthur Papkin of Brockton and Susan and Alan Meister of Taunton. Granddaughter of Ida and Abe Goldstein of Tamarac, Fl. Sister of James and Kathleen Meister, Marissa and Josh Santos, Christina Meister all of Taunton, Fern and Anthony Mancuso of Braintree and Heather and Glen Ansin of Methuen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Stacey is also survived by many friends, old and new, near and far. A graveside service will be at King Solomon Memorial Park, 2690 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday, June 23rd. at 11:00AM. A celebration of Stacey’s life will follow with a luncheon at the Oak Hill Meeting House, 1 Beech St. Taunton, Ma.
