Nancy (Venti) Anastasi, 95, passed away on June 19, 2011 in Putnam Farm at Danvers. She was the wife of the late Louis Anastasi.
Born on March 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Elisa (Coppola) Venti. She was a lifelong resident of Danvers and graduated from Holten High School in 1934. Nancy had been a communicant of the former St. Alphonsus Church and St. Mary of the Annunciation Church. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Thompson Country Club. She had a green thumb and enjoyed painting.
The family would like to thank the staff at Putnam Farm at Danvers for the care they gave to Nancy. She truly enjoyed living at Putnam Farms.
She is survived by her children, Lois Bethune and her husband John of Beverly, Robert Anastasi and his wife Mary of Lenox and Kenneth Anastasi of Beverly, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a sister Emma Alaskiewicz. She was predeceased by two grandchildren and her siblings Peter Venti, Hilda Valcour and Mary DeVito.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wed., June 22, 2011 at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Vst. hrs are Tues. 5-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
