DUDLEY - Bernard F. Aniszewski, 86, of Dudley, died Friday, June 17, 2011 after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 65 years, Edna (Martel) Aniszewski; his son William Aniszewski, Sr. and his wife Jean of Webster; his daughters, Susan Panella and her husband John of Townsend, MA and Jean Ayoub of Dudley; five grandchildren, William Aniszewski, Jr. and his wife Tonya of Cumming, GA, Jason Panella and his wife Sarah of Nashua, NH, Matthew Panella of Nashua, NH, Karen Panella of Bedford, MA and Tracy Ide and her husband Steven of Dudley; four great grandchildren, Addison Aniszewski, Adam and Thomas Ide, and Jack Panella; a sister-in-law, Irene; and a niece.
Bernard’s parents were William and Bridgette (Fidrych) Aniszewski. His brothers Joseph, Francis and John all predeceased him.
Bernard graduated from Bartlett High School in June, 1943. He married Edna in June, 1946 and retired from Stevens Linen Associates in 1988. He was a kind, gentle and humble fellow who will be sorely missed.
According to his wishes there will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be held Monday, June 27, at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Donations in his name may be made to St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., PO Box 98, Dudley, MA 01571-0098. Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, is in charge of the arrangements.
