W. Murray Fox
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, June 19, 2011, Mr. Walter Murray Fox, 58, husband of Debbie A. Fox.
Murray was a native of Augusta, GA and lived in Jacksonville Beach for the last 29 years. He attended Evans High School and began his career in the grocery business at the age of sixteen. At the time of his death he was a sales associate with KeHe Tree of Life. Murray was recently awarded the 2011 Bob Hajicek Courageous Sales and Leadership Award by KeHe. He was an avid sailor and loved antique cars. Murray was a member of the Rudder Club in Green Cove Springs, FL.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Joshua Lee Fox, Matthew Elliott Fox and Nicholas Huff, parents: Mr. and Mrs. Vernon E. Fox, sisters: Janie Fox Twaddle, Mayme Fox Walsh, Lynda Fox Ivey and husband Ben, Elaine Fox Lord and husband Roger, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Jacksonville Baptist Medical Center, MCG Health and UPAC of Augusta for their love and care during Murray’s illness.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at The Church of Our Savior with Rev. John West officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, 124 Watertown Street, Suite 2D, Watertown, MA 02472.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
