Henry Eidson Jernigan, 60, of Bonita Springs, Florida, formerly of Tifton, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at his residence. A memorial celebration of Henry's life will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the Georgia Agrirama Atrium. Rev. Joseph Crumley will officiate. Please dress casual.
Mr. Jernigan was born on June 25, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and was the son of Jasper Eidson Jernigan and Henrietta Christenberry Jernigan, both deceased. He was the former owner of Henry J's in Tifton and was self-employed in Naples, Florida. He had college degrees in Psychology and Business. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Naples and enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He was also a member of the National Guard.
Mr. Jernigan is survived by his former wife, Pat Watson Jernigan of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Cori Jernigan of Brunswick; one daughter, Jana Jernigan of Tifton; two sisters, Mildred Howard and Charlotte Jordan, both of Macon; and his nieces and nephews.
