Mary Jane Kane of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on June 17, 2011 in her home. Mary Jane was born on October 12, 1928 to Mary and James Barry in Drexel Hill, PA.
Mary Jane retired after 20 years at Mike Linnigs Resturant. Mary Jane loved being surrounded by her family and friends, vacations at the shore and fun times at the 19th Hole Bar. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Kane, Jr. for 30 years. Her children are Patricia Sawdy (Jack), Frances Trageser (Chris), and Joseph Thomas Kane, III (Tammy); grandchildren, Beth Marcum (Bret), Laura Moody (Jim), Jason Sawdy (Jaclynn), and Lonnie Kane. She is also survived by her loving brother, Rev. James F. Barry; John and Judy Trageser; nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral Mass will be 10am Wednesday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 7718 Columbine Drive.
Visitation will be Tuesday 3-8 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
