Mr. Richard C. “Dick” Easton, of Bridgewater, died Friday, June 17 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, as the result of an accident. He was the husband of Carol A. (Lundell) Easton. He was born 66 years ago in Quincy, the son of the late Willard A. Easton and the late Ruth E. (Bebby) Easton. He was educated in Abington, having graduated from Abington High School, and had been a Bridgewater resident for the past 28 years. At the time of his death, he was employed in the Maintenance Department at the Showcase Cinema Deluxe at Legacy Place in Dedham. He was previously employed at General Dynamics in Quincy for 25 years. Mr. Easton served in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He enjoyed country music concerts and spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 1 daughter: Laura A. Easton of Bridgewater; 1 brother: Robert F. Easton and his wife, Rachel of Evanston, Ill.; 1 grandson: Austin C. Fagundes of Bridgewater; 1 granddaughter: Caroline L. Fagundes of Bridgewater, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Monday, June 20 at 7:00 P.M. Visiting Hours will precede the Service, Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
