OLSZOWY, RUTH ANN, 84 years of age, June 14, 2011 of South Boston, formerly of Duxbury and Hyde Park, passed away Tuesday morning after a wonderful life and a long illness. Ruthie was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Olszowy. Beloved mother of Ruth Ann Hendricks of Duxbury, MA, and Joseph Olszowy of Littleton, NH. Grandmother of Courtney, Kelsie, Halie, KC, and Gardiner. Sister of Ethel O'Malley, Ginny Pillard, the late Marie Hasson, Margie Menslage, Eileen Gibbons, Bill Hasson and John Hasson. also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Ruthie was much loved and will be dearly missed.
Visiting hours will be held at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON, Sunday, June 19 from 4 PM-7 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Augustine's Chapel (Next to the Funeral Home) on Monday, June 20, at 10 AM. Followed by Interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Conery Rd., Bourne, MA 02532 at 12:30 P.M.
