Obituary

Patricia “Trish” Ellen Carney, a lifelong resident of Natick, passed away on June 14, 2011 after a long illness. She was 45 years old.

The daughter of the late William and Joyce (McEwen) Carney, Trish was educated in the Natick Public Schools and was a graduate of Natick High School – Class of 1984. She went on to earn her BA degree in journalism from the University of Southern California in 1989. Trish was employed as a clinical data manager having worked for the United States Army Quartermaster Corp in Natick and also at Parexel International Corporation of Waltham, Lowell, and London. An accomplished performer, Trish taught children’s theater through the Natick Recreation Department for many years and was also very involved with the Natick Drama Workshop as well as the Impulse Dance Center in Natick. Trish truly loved to dance, most especially ballet. She also enjoyed reading, travelling, and spending time with family, friends, and her beloved cats.

Trish was the beloved sister of Kathy Hayes of Natick, Stephanie Carney of Milford, William Carney of Fredericksburg, VA, and the late Tim Carney of Salisbury who passed away in February. She was the cherished aunt of Nicholas Hayes of Cambridge and Kaleigh Carney of Milford. Trish is also survived by her dear friends Judy Maggs and Greg Paul of Natick as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Trish’s funeral service on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the John Everett & Sons, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) NATICK. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 4-8 PM.
