Stephen R. Ryan 80 of Allston died June 15 in Norwood Hospital.
Born in Boston, September 14, 1930, the son of the late Stephen and Theresa (Doherty) Ryan, Mr. Ryan had lived all his life in Boston.
He was a graduate of Brighton High School.
Mr. Ryan was a talented artist who was well known for his drawings.
He is survived by his sister Catherine H. Williams of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Philip Ryan.
Graveside services will be held on Friday June 24 in St. Mary’s Cemetery Franklin at Noon.
