Obituary

MARION — Millicent Pierce (Lincoln) Kelley, of Fairhaven, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at Sippican Health Care Center in Marion. She was the wife of the late F. Standish Kelley; and daughter of the late Eva E. (Kelley) and Harold C. Lincoln.

A graduate of Fairhaven High School and an active member of the Unitarian Memorial Church, she was a Director of D.N. Kelley and Son Inc., for over fifty years.

Millicent served on the Board of Trustees of River-side Cemetery Incorporated, and was a member of the Fairhaven Improvement Association, the Fairhaven Historical Society and the Fairhaven Colonial Club. She was also a Board member of the Alliance of her church and active with several New Bedford organizations.

Survivors include her son, David N. Kelley II and his wife, Marsha of Marion; her daughter, Paige Heyman of New Jersey; grandchildren, Blake Kelley McDermott and her husband, Sam of Dedham, Andrew S. Kelley and his wife, Megan of So. Dartmouth, Sarah Bevis and her husband, Brad of Charlestown, Jennifer Heyman of New Jersey and Jeffrey Heyman of New York; and her great-grandchildren, Stella and Charles of Dedham and Dylan of Pennsylvania.

It is suggested remembrances be made in Millicent's name to the Unitarian Memorial Church, 102 Green St., Fairhaven, MA 02719.

Her graveside service will take place on Saturday June 18th at 10:30 a.m., in River-side Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and a reception after at the Harrop Center behind the parish house of the Unitarian Church.
