Alfred L. Otenti Jr., 85, of Hudson, died on Sunday, June 12th at Marlboro Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Alma Jean (Pugsley) Otenti who died in 1995.
Alfred was born in Framingham, son of the late Alfred L. Otenti Sr. and Doris (Baker) Otenti. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Framingham High School. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated the former Hudson Market in Hudson and was also a manager for the former A&P Supermarket in Hudson. .
He is survived by his children, Cynthia Oldfield and her husband Fred of Milford, Leslie Mahimtura and her companion Buster of Hudson, Patricia Otenti and her husband Paul Benett of Hudson, Steven Otenti and his wife Donna of Tuscon, Arizona, Alfred Otenti III and his wife Maria of Hudson and Thomas Otenti of Hudson. He is also survived by his two sisters, Eileen Moulton of Rochester, New Hampshire, Shirley Mellen of Jackson, New Jersey; his brother, Kenneth Otenti of Lebanon, Maine;11 grandchildren, Caulette, Brent, Jarrod, Raj, Alexander, Danielle, Ian, Garrett, Taylor, Matthew, Nathan; 12 great grandchildren; his in-laws, Francis Pugsley, Dorothy Doyle, Donald Pugsley (who was like a son to him), Marjorie Jacobs and many nieces and nephews
