Robert Thompson “Bobby” Weeks, Sr., 78, of Louisville, passed away on June 14, 2011.
Bob was raised in LaGrange, KY and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a friend of Bill W. since 1965, a member of Buechel Lodge 896 and Order of the Eastern Star Shively Star #566. He retired from the Kentucky Lottery. He also worked in printing for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. and Annette S. Weeks; and daughter, Linda L. Logsdon.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Martha R. Weeks; son, David R. Weeks (Jennifer) and daughter, Lisa Fleener; and grandchildren, James Hill of Louisville, KY, and Taylor and Elijah Weeks, of Henryville, IN.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Thursday 2-8pm at the funeral home.
